MAHAPREIT, or Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation (MPBCDC), a Government of Maharashtra State PSU. The company aims to:

Generate, trade, operate, lease, and rent renewable power projects, mainly focusing on Solar Power, including Solar Parks and related infrastructure.

Promote decarbonization, energy efficiency, battery storage solutions, alternative fuel cell technology, and address climate change in line with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) policies.
